Ingredients:
Chicken – 500 gms, cut into 5 to 6 pieces
Tomatoes – 500 gms, blanched, chopped
Ginger – 1 tblsp, chopped
Green Chilli – 1, sliced
Dry Red Chillies – 4, coarsely powdered
Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
Oil – 1/4 cup
Capsicum – 3 1/2 tblsp, chopped
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves – 1/2 tblsp, chopped
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan over moderate flame.
2. Add the garlic paste, dry red chillies and stir-fry for a minute.
3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring all the time.
4. Now add salt, ginger, green chillies and continue to cook for another 3 minutes.
5. Add the chicken and cook till it is tender and a thick gravy remains.
6. Add the capsicums and garam masala powder.
7. Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 3 minutes.
8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
9. Serve hot.
