This is a dry dish served as an appetizer or starter. They can also be served with rice or rotis.
Ingredients:
Shrimps – 12 to 15, shelled, deveined
Lime Juice – 1 1/2 tblsp
Sambar Onion (Shallot) – 1, minced
Ginger – 4 to 5 tsp, peeled, minced
Chaat Masala Powder – 2 tsp
Fenugreek Powder – 3/4 tsp
Amchur (Dried Mango Powder) – 3/4 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1/3 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/3 to 1/2 tsp
Coriander Leaves – few, chopped
Sea Salt as per taste
Oil – 3 tsp
Green Chillies – 2, finely chopped (optional)
Method:
1. Except shrimps and coriander leaves, mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
2. Add the shrimps and mix well.
3. Cover with cling film and keep it in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes or up to 1 hour.
4. Heat a grill pan over medium flame.
5. Brush with some oil.
6. Remove the shrimps and discard any excess marinade.
7. Cook the shrimps, turning once or twice, for 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked.
8. Transfer to a serving plate.
9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
10. Serve with lemon wedges.
