Ingredients:
Lamb Chops – 4 pieces, flattened with a rolling pin
Raw Papaya Paste – 1 to 2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tsp
Cloves – 1/2 tsp
Mustard Oil – 1/8 cup
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Onion Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Yogurt – 4 tblsp, whisked
Chaat Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1/2 tblsp
Besan Flour – 1 tsp, roasted
Aniseed – 1/2 tsp
Black Cardamoms – 1/2 tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Combine the papaya paste, ginger garlic paste and salt in a bowl.
2. Marinate the lamb chops in this mixture.
3. Sprinkle the besan flour over and keep aside.
4. Combine the remaining ingredients, except lemon juice and chaat masala, with yogurt and mix well to a fine paste.
5. Marinate the lamb chops in this mixture for 2 hours.
6. Skewer the chops and roast in a preheated oven at 180C/350F till cooked.
7. Remove and transfer the chops to a plate.
8. Sprinkle chaat masala and lemon juice.
9. Serve hot.
