Ingredients:
Mutton – 125 gms, chopped
Curd – 1/2 cup
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1/3 tblsp
Ghee – 2 1/2 tblsp
Onion – 1/2 cup, chopped
Garam Masala Powder – 1/4 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Fenugreek Leaves – 1/2 tblsp
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. In a bowl, mix the curd, salt, red chilli powder and coriander powder.
2. Marinate the mutton pieces in this mixture for 2 to 3 hours.
3. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
4. Saute the onions and add the ginger garlic paste.
5. Add the mutton pieces and fry for 5 minutes.
6. Add all the marinade and mix well.
7. Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of water.
8. Close and pressure cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
9. Reduce flame and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
10. Remove and open the lid once the pressure drops.
11. Add garam masala powder and fenugreek leaves.
12. Mix well and cook for 3 minutes or till the mutton pieces are nicely coated with the masala.
13. Remove and serve hot.
