Tangy Fish Fry

Ingredients:
Fish Fillets – 500 gms
Oil – 1 1/4 cups
Chaat Masala – 3/4 tsp
Salt – 3/4 tsp
Lime Juice – 3/4 tblsp

For the Batter:
Ajwain – 1 tsp
White Pepper Powder – 3/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 3/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 3/4 tsp
Besan Flour – 1/2 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tblsp
White Vinegar – 1/8 cup

Method:
1. Wash the fish thoroughly.
2. Prick all over with a sharp knife.
3. Rub salt and lime juice over the fish and keep aside for 30 minutes.
4. Mix all the batter ingredients in a large bowwl.
5. Dip the fillets in batter and keep aside for 30 minutes. Ensure they are coated well.
6. Heat oil in a pan.
7. Deep fry the fish in batches over moderate heat till cooked through and golden brown.
8. Remove and drain excess oil.
9. Sprinkle some chaat masala over the fish fillets.
10. Serve hot with lime wedges.
