Ingredients:
Onions – 4
Cloves – 4
Green Chillies – 10 to 12
Peppercorns – 8 to 10
Cinnamon Stick – 2 inch piece
Ginger – 1 tsp, ground
Garlic – 2 tsp, ground
Oil – 6 to 8 tblsp
Tomatoess – 500 gms, chopped
Salt as per taste
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Green Peas – 500 gms
Curd – 4 tblsp
Coriander Leaves – 1 bunch
For Seasoning:
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – 7 to 8
Method:
1. Grind the onions, cloves, green chillies, peppercorns and cinnamon together.
2. Add ginger and garlic.
3. Heat oil in a pan.
4. Fry the seasoning ingredients till dark brown.
5. Add the ground onions, tomatoes, salt, turmeric powder, peas, curd and 1 cup of water.
6. Stir well.
7. Simmer till the peas are cooked on low flame.
8. Garnish with coriander leaves.
9. Serve hot.
