Ingredients

  • 300 g Paneer
  • 1 1/2 cups Onion (sliced)
  • 1 to 2 cups Tomatoes (chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp Green Chillies
  • 6 Dry Red Chillies
  • 2 tbsp Mint Leaves Paste
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves Paste
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 cup Curd
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Seed
  • 1 tsp Peppercorn
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 2 Cloves
  • 1 Cardamom
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • Salt (as per taste)

Instructions

  • Coarsely grind dry red chillies, peppercorn, coriander seeds, cumin, and garam masala. Set aside.
  • Heat oil and butter, and fry bay leaves for a minute.
  • Add coarsely ground masala.
  • Immediately add onions and fry until transparent.
  • Add garlic, fry for 2 minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, cook for 5 minutes, then add ginger, mint, and coriander paste. Mix well.
  • Add paneer cubes and salt, then finally add curd and cream.
  • Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot.
