Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 kg, cut into 12 pieces
Oil – 1/2 cup
Garlic Paste – 4 tsp
Red Chillies – 6 to 8, pounded coarsely
Tomatoes – 1 kg, blanched and chopped
Ginger – 3 tbsp, chopped
Green Chillies – 2, sliced
Salt as per taste
Red and Green Capsicums – 1/2 cup
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Green Coriander – 1 tsp, chopped
Method:
1. Heat oil in a kadai.
2. Saute garlic paste, add red chillies and fry for a while.
3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
4. Add ginger, sliced green chillies and salt.
5. Cook on medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.
6. Add chicken pieces and cook till the gravy is thick and the chicken is tender.
7. Add the red and green capsicums and garam masala.
8. Cover and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
9. Garnish with chopped coriander.
10. Serve hot.
