Ingredients:
Cabbage – 250 gms, chopped
Capsicum – 1, cut lengthwise
Onions – 2, cut lengthwise
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Jeera Powder – 2 tsp
Curry Leaves – 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves – 1/2 cup
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add mustard seeds and fry for 20 to 30 seconds.
3. Add chopped onions and fry for a little while.
4. Add cabbage and mix well.
5. Add capsicum pieces, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
6. Close the pan with a lid and let it cook for sometime.
7. Open the lid, add salt and jeera powder.
8. Stir once or twice before closing the lid.
9. Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
10. Garnish with coriander leaves and curry leaves.
11. Remove and serve hot as a side dish for plain rice or chapati.
