Ambur Mutton Biryani

Ingredients:
Mutton – 1 cup
Curd – 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 to 4 tsp
Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 3 tsp
Onion – 1 cup
Tomato – 1 cup
Green Chilli – 6 to 7
Mint Leaves – 1 cup
Coriander Leaves – 1 cup
Garam Masala Powder – 2 to 3 tsp
Ghee – 4 to 5 tsp
Bay Leaf – 1
Cardamom – 1
Cinnamon – 1
Rice – 1 to 2 cups
Lime Juice

Method:
1. Heat oil in a pressure pan.
2. Add bay leaf, cinnamon and cardamom.
3. Add mint leaves and green chillies.
4. Fry for a minute.
5. Add onions, ginger garlic paste and tomatoes.
6. Continue frying and add the mutton pieces.
7. Mix well and add 1 cup of curd.
8. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
9. Add little water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
10. Once the steam has been released fully, open the pan and add the cooked rice.
11. Add lime juice and mix well.
12. Add coriander leaves, garam masala powder, ghee and close the lid for 10 to 15 minutes.
13. Serve hot.

Optional:- In step 12, you can keep the pressure pan on low flame also.
