Ingredients:
Chicken – 1 cup
Onion – 1 cup
Tomato – 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 tsp
Coconut – 1/4 cup
Turmeric Powder – 2 tsp
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Red Chillies – 4
Green Chillies – 4
To Grind:
Red Chilli – 4
Pepper – 2 tsp
Dhaniya (Coriander) – 4 to 5 tsp
Jeera – 4 tsp
Cashewnuts – 10 to 15
Coconut – 1/4 cup
Method:
1. Grind the to grind ingredients in a mixie.
2. Heat oil in a pan.
3. Add curry leaves, red chillies and onion.
4. Fry for 45 seconds.
5. Add the ginger garlic paste, tomato and green chillies.
6. Fry for 2 minutes and then add the chicken.
7. Add some water and let it boil for a while.
8. After 3 to 5 minutes, add the ground paste and salt.
9. Mix well and continue boiling for another 2 minutes till everything is mixed well and chicken is coated nicely with the masalas.
10. Garnish with coriander leaves.
11. Remove and serve hot with plain rice or dosa or chappati.
