Ingredients:
Yogurt – 250 ml
Gram Flour – 2 tblsp
Salt – 1 1/2 tsp
Onions – 2, medium and sliced
Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Jeera Methi Powder – 1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tsp
Green Chillies – 6, slit in the middle
Coriander Leaves – 2 tblsp, finely chopped

For Seasoning:
Oil – 2 tblsp
Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/4 tsp
Curry Leaves – 8

Method:
1. Beat the yogurt with the gram flour in a pan till a rich creamy consistency is achieved.
2. Add 1 cup of water and add the sliced onions, garlic paste, jeera methi powder, turmeric powdeer, red chilli powder, green chillies and coriander leaves.
3.  Cook on moderate heat till you see fat breaking from the yogurt and rise to the top (about 8 to 10 minutes).
4. Put the oil in another pan on moderate heat.
5. When hot, add the seasoning ingredients and fry for 10 seconds.
6. Add this to the cooked yogurt.
7. Add salt.
8. Serve hot with masala vada.
