Ingredients:
Noodles – 200 gms, boiled
Oil for frying
Tomato Ketchup – 60 ml
Worcestershire Sauce – 1 tsp
Apricot Jam – 1 tsp
Sugar – 2 tsp
Vinegar – 1/2 tsp
Tomatoes – 20 gms, diced
Pineapple – 10 gms, diced
Capsicum – 20 gms, diced
Onions – 10 gms, diced
Cabbage – 10 gms, diced
Cornflour – 1 tsp
Method:
1. Heat the oil in a kadai.
2. Deep fry the noodles till crisp and golden brown.
3. Drain excess. Keep aside.
4. For the sweet and sour sauce.
5. Mix together tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, apricot jam, sugar and a little water.
6. Bring this mixture to a boil.
7. Remove from heat.
8. Add vinegar and mix well.
9. Allow the sauce to cool.
10. Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan.
11. Saute all the vegetables and pineapple.
12. Add the prepared sweet and sour sauce and mix well.
13. Stir in the cornflour dissolved in water to thicken and remove from the heat.
14. Arrange the fried noodles on a serving platter.
15. Pour the sweet and sour sauce on top and serve.
