Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken – 400 gms, cut into 4 to 5 pieces
Oil – 1/4 cup
Bay Leaf – 1
Cloves – 2
Green Cardamoms – 2
Onion Paste – 1/4 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tblsp
Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cashewnut Paste – 2 to 3 tblsp
Yogurt – 1/2 cup, whisked
White Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Saffron – a pinch
Cream – 75 ml
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan over moderate flame.
2. Saute the bay leaf, cloves and green cardamom for a few seconds.
3. Add onion paste, ginger garlic paste and stir-fry for a minute or two.
4. Add the cashewnut paste.
5. Stir-fry for a minute or two and add the coriander powder.
6. Add the chicken pieces and simmer for 2 minutes.
7. Add yogurt, salt, white pepper powder and saffron.
8. Mix well and reduce flame.
9. Simmer till chicken pieces become tender.
10. Add cream and mix well.
11. Serve hot.
