Ingredients:
Chicken – 800 gms, cut into boneless cubes
Mustard Oil – 5 tbsp
Onions – 1 cup, chopped
Tomatoes – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
Mustard Seeds – 2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder to Taste
Salt to taste
Cumin Powder – 2 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 tbsp
Spring Onions – 1/2 cup
Method:
1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadai.
2. Saute onions till transparent.
3. Add tomatoes and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
4. Keep aside.
5. In a separate kadai, heat the remaining oil.
6. Add the mustard seeds and saute till they crackle.
7. Stir in the onion-tomato mixture.
8. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
9. Add the chicken, salt, cumin and red chilli powder.
10. Cook for another 20 minutes on low heat, till the chicken is done.
11. Mix in the spring onions and cook for 2 minutes.
12. Remove from heat.
13. Serve hot.
