Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I use boneless fish for this recipe?

Absolutely! Whether you prefer bone-in or boneless, the marinade works wonders for both. If you enjoyed this, you might also like our “Grilled Fish Tacos” for a different twist on seafood.

Can I prepare the marinade in advance?

Yes, you can! Prepare the marinade and store it in the refrigerator for up to a day. For the best results, ensure it reaches room temperature before coating the fish.

Can I bake the fish instead of frying for a healthier option?

Certainly! While frying adds a delightful crispiness, baking is a healthier alternative. Try our “Baked Lemon Herb Tilapia” for a similar flavour profile with less oil.

Is chaat masala necessary for garnishing?

Chaat masala adds a tangy kick, but if you don’t have it, a pinch of chat masala can be replaced with a squeeze of fresh lemon for a citrusy zing.

How long can I store the leftovers?

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a day without compromising taste and texture. Reheat in the oven for a crispy finish.
