Ingredients:
Lamb – 500 gms, boneless, cut into cubes
Vegetable Oil – 1/2 cup
Cinnamon – 2 one inch sticks
Green Cardamoms – 3
Cloves – 4
Bay Leaves – 6
Ginger Paste – 1 1/2 tbsp
Garlic Paste – 1 1/2 tbsp
Green Chilli Paste – 1 1/2 tbsp
Yoghurt – 1/2 cup
Almond Paste – 1/2 cup
Salt – 1 tsp
Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
Saffron – a few strands
Egg – 1, hard-boiled, quartered
Method:
1. Heat the oil in a pan.
2. Add the cinnamon sticks, green cardamoms, cloves and bay leaves.
3. Saute till they turn brown.
4. Add the ginger paste, garlic paste and green chilli paste.
5. Fry for a few minutes then add the yoghurt and lamb.
6. Mix well.
8. Add the almond paste, salt, black pepper and saffron.
9. Cook for about 5 minutes till well blended.
10. Remove the pan from the heat.
11. Serve hot garnished with hard-boiled egg.
