Ingredients:
Green Peas – 500 gms
Cumin Seeds – 2 tblsp
Whole Red Chillies – 4 tsp
Green Cardamoms – 2 tsp
Ghee – 2 tblsp
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tblsp
Refined Flour – 1 1/2 cups
Water – 4 1/2 tblsp
Ghee – 2 tblsp
Oil / Ghee for frying
Method:
1. Grind the green peas into a paste.
2. Broil the cumin seeds, whole red chillies and green cardamoms and then powder them. Keep aside.
3. Heat the ghee.
4. Cook the gree pea paste with salt, red chilli powder and the broiled powder.
5. Keep the stuffing aside.
6. Make a stiff dough by using flour, water and ghee.
7. Keep the dough for 2 hours in the fridge.
8. Divide the dough into equal sized balls.
9. Take each ball, make a well in the middle, add the stuffing and cover it.
10. Shape like a small patties and deep fry till golden.
11. Serve hot.
