Ingredients:
Minced Mutton – 1/2 kg
Oil – 2 tblsp
Crisp Fried Onions – 1 cup, crushed
Yogurt – 1 cup, beaten
Salt to taste
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Green Cardamoms – 4
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Black Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Cloves – 4
For the Cashew Nut Paste:
Cashew Nuts – 10
Green Chillies – 5
Mint Leaves – 2 tblsp
Coriander Leaves – 2 tblsp
For Garnish:
Mint Leaves
Method:
1. Put the cashew nuts, green chillies, mint leaves and coriander leaves in a grinder and blend well to make a fine paste.
2. Heat the oil in a pan.
3. Saute the minced mutton for 5 minutes.
4. Transfer to a bowl.
5. Stir in the cashew nut paste, fried onions, yogurt, salt, garam masala powder, cardamoms, cinnamon, black cumin seeds and cloves. Mix well.
6. Transfer to a baking dish and level the surface.
7. Bake in a preheated moderate oven for 45 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed.
8. Stir the minced meat to loosen it and spoon into a serving dish.
9. Garnish with mint leaves.
