Ingredients:
Mutton – 1/2 kg, cut into small cubes
Cauliflower – 2 medium heads
Coconut Milk – 2 cups
Onions – 2 large, finely sliced
Onions – 2 large, finely chopped
Cinnamon Stick – 2 inch piece
Whole Dried Red Chillies – 3 to 4
Salt – 2 1/2 tsp
Vegetable Oil – 4 tblsp
Grind to a paste:
Garlic – 6 cloves
Fresh Ginger Root – 3/4 inch piece
Method:
1. Break up cauliflower into florets.
2. Heat oil and fry 2 finely sliced onions till brown. Drain excess oil.
3. Add garlic and ginger paste and cook for 5 minutes.
4. Add meat and brown nicely for 10 minutes.
5. Add cinnamon stick, red chilli, 3 cups warm water and 1 tsp salt.
6. Cover and cook on low heat till meat is cooked and 3/4 cup gravy remains.
7. Add coconut milk, cauliflower, finely chopped onion and 1 1/2 tsp salt.
8. Blend well, then cover and cook on low heat till meat and cauliflower are well cooked and 3/4 cup thick gravy remains.
