Walnuts in Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients:
Walnuts – 150 gms
Canned Pineapple – 2 slices
Green Pepper – 1
Red Pepper – 1

For the seasoning
Plain Flour – 150 ml
Corn Flour – 1 tblsp
Baking Powder – 1 tblsp
Salt – 1/2 tblsp
Water – 100 ml

For the Sauce
Corn flour – 2 tblsp
Water – 7 tblsp
White Vinegar – 2 tblsp
Sugar – 4 tblsp
Tomato Ketchup – 3 tblsp

Method:
1. Mix seasoning well, then add 1 tblsp of oil and mix well again.
2. Mix sauce well, for further use.
3. Remove membrane of walnuts, parboil in hot water for 1 minute and drain.
4. Heat 500 ml of water, boil walnut for 3-5 minutes with 1 tblsp of salt until soft.
5. Marinate boiled walnuts into mixed seasoning, coat each walnuts with batter.
6. Heat wok with oil, deep fry the coated walnuts until crispy, drain dry.
7. Chop red and green pepper, pineapple into small cubes.
8. Heat wok with 2 tblsp of oil, stir fry chopped pepper and pineapple.
9. Add in mixed sauce, stir fry until boiling.
10. Add in the walnuts and serve.
