Gunpowder Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 to 5 Chicken Drumsticks
- 3 tsp Oil
- 8 to 12 Red Chillies halved
- 1 to 2 tsp Black Pepper Powder adjust as desired
- 3 to 4 Spring Onions sliced
- 2 tbsp Roasted Peanuts
For the sauce:
- 1 to 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Chinese Rice Wine
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup Chicken Stock
- 1/2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cornflour
Instructions
- Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
- Fry the chicken drumsticks for 2 to 4 minutes stirring from time to time to evenly cook.
- Add the pepper powder, red chillies and cook for another minute.
- Add the sauce to the pan and bring to a boil.
- Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
- Add the spring onions and peanuts.
- Mix well and serve.
