Ingredients:
For Koftas
500 gms, any white flesh Fish, boiled and flaked
1 Onion, grated
1 tsp each of Ginger and Garlic, grated
3 slices of bread, soaked in water and squeezed dry
handful of Coriander leaves
4 Green Chillies, minced
1 tsp Dhania-Jeera powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
Salt and Chilli powder to taste
For Curry
100 gms Onions, grated
1 tsp each of Ginger and Garlic paste
250 gms Tomatoes, pureed
1/2 cup Curd
handful of Coriander leaves, chopped
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Dhania-Jeera powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
Salt and Chilli powder to taste
Method:
1. Mix together all the kofta ingredients and form into round balls.
2. Deep fry to a golden colour.
3. Heat 4 tblsp of ghee and fry the paste to a golden colour.
4. Add tomatoes and curd, spices and salt.
5. When the ghee oozes out, add 2 cups of water.
6. Bring the contents to a boil and reduce the heat.
7. Add koftas and cook for 5 minutes.
8. Garnish with coriander leaves and garam masala.
9. Serve hot.
