Ingredients:
Crabs – 3, big
Onions – 3
Tomatoes – 3
Green Chillies – 3
Basmati Rice – 500 gms
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tsp
Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
Curd – 1/2 cup
Mint Leaves – 1/2 cup
Coriander Leaves – 1/2 cup
Bay Leaf – 2
Cloves – 4
Cinnamon – 1/4 inch piece
Salt as per taste
Ghee as required
Oil as required
Method:
1. Soak the rice for 10 minutes and drain.
2. Boil the crabs for 10 minutes and discard the shells and claws. Use only the flesh.
3. Heat little oil and ghee in a pressure pan.
4. Fry the cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms and bay leaves for a minute.
5. Add the onions and saute well for 5 minutes.
6. Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, curd and salt.
7. Add the boiled crab, rice and lemon juice.
8. Stir well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
9. Reduce flame to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
10. Remove and serve hot.
