Ingredients:
Fish Steaks or Fillets – 4 to 5, any white fish
Oil – 1/4 tsp
Lime Juice – 3 tblsp
For the marinade:
Coriander Powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Oil – 1/4 tsp
Garlic – 2 cloves
Green Chilli – 1
Coriander Leaves – handful
Dill Leaves – handful
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp
Tamarind Extract – 1/2 tblsp
Method:
1. Gently massage the steaks with oil and keep aside in a plate.
2. Grind together the garlic, green chillies, dill, coriander, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt.
3. Add oil and grind to a paste.
4. Add the tamarind extract and mix well.
5. Rub this all over the fish steaks and keep aside to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
6. Grill the marinated fish on a preheated grill or oven till golden and crisp on both sides or for 5 minutes.
7. Remove to a plate.
8. Sprinkle the lime juice and serve at once with salad of choice.
